Job Title: GRADUATE ENGINEER

Graduates should have a degree in instrumentation, electrical or mechanical engineering.
Key Objectives:
- To assist in the identification and, as required, the design and specification of equipment required to implement specified process requirements
- To assist in the procurement of specified equipment and its integration into the overall plant design
- To participate where appropriate in necessary training focused at attaining chartered engineering status
Main Duties completed under supervision:
- Identification and design validation of process equipment
- Creation of equipment technical specifications and datasheets for procurement purposes based on customer specifications
- Creation of purchase requisitions for purchase of capital equipment
- Management of sub-contract vendors including review of vendor documentation including attendance of vendor clarification meetings
- Interface with vendors, third party inspectors or Classification Societies to ensure specification compliance
- Interface with Drawing Office to create fabrication/installation drawings
- Checking of drawings and participation in design reviews
- Implementation of Company procedures and all other mechanisms to ensure the specific safety, quality, budget and programme requirements of the contract are achieved
- Interface and co-ordination with other discipline engineers within the department
- Provision of technical support to Sales and Tendering
- Detailed weight analysis and recording for equipment and packages.
- Completion of bills of materials and listings
- Completion of Activity Reports and eMPDS reports required for attainment of chartered status
- To carry out such tasks within his/her capability as required

| Motivation & Work Relationships | This role, while fulfilling specific project task requirements, may also have elements involving: Process and system development. Interface with other specialist engineers. Selling/Tendering support as well as project execution. |
